Some patterns carry their own light. This is one of them — a traditional block, origin unknown, believed to date to the 1920s, reimagined in soft, sun-warmed gold. Its geometry unfolds like a slow sunrise across the surface of the quilt.
Each point is precisely cut and hand-pieced, the repetition deliberate, the effect quietly radiant. This is a quilt that changes with the light in a room — luminous in the morning, honeyed by afternoon, warm and still by evening.
One color story among several we envision bringing to life over the coming years. Fabrics are Tilda Solids and Chambrays, chosen for their subtle texture and quiet depth.
Finished size is approximately 48" × 60" — a perfect sofa companion with your morning cup of tea.
